The titans win in the AFC, off to the Super Bowl they go 
Fighting their way through injury, hail and snow 
Against the mighty rams, What do the titans have to show?

The ram’s defense was as hard as stone 
That crazy February day 
Until the third quarter 
When it began to sway. 

The score-16-23 
My team was sadly losing 
The game scraped up many elbows and knees 
But none of us titans were leaving. 

Even though I caught the throw, 
And had the end zone in in sight, 
Jones tackled like a hawk to a crow, 
And left us titans way down low.

So goes the tale of that Super Bowl in ‘99.
It was like a terrible crime.
The glory of winning was stolen from us
And the culprits away with no fine.

My Weird Morning

I woke up at 7:00 this morning and something felt weird but I couldn’t quite place my finger on it.

“Hmm,” I thought to myself. Anyway I just went back to my normal morning routine; change into the dress code, brush teeth, get my bag ready, have breakfast and go outside to wait for the bus.

In ancient times, if you were born under the Great Squeaker, the First Constellation, it was said that you would be a loving, kind, and very loud human being. You would be brave and independent, shy but always looking for attention. You would also have a great sense of humor and have good reflexes.  You would also be very observant.

Look Around

Crowded city, packed with people
Tall buildings hanging over your head

Street performers dancing to the sound of music 

Different types of Stores all around filled with excitement 

Food stands that smell so good 

People dressed up as movie characters 
Asking if you want to take a picture with them, 
But don’t 
It will cost you $500

Beautiful sites to see

Seeing the NBC News building and getting on tv in the background 

Skating on outdoor rink outside of Rockefeller plaza 

The best restaurants with the BEST food ever

So if you go to New York just look around.

Messed Up Backpack

In my tiny backpack, I found…

A big, blue wristband  
stinking and waiting to be washed again 

A decomposing, blood-red leaf  
saying Goodbye cruel world!

An almost-empty bag of Cheetos 
saying EAT MEEEEEE!

My fake wallet 
           untouched 
waiting for me to use it 

A piece of grass
and…
another piece of glass 
Where is that from?

 My dog tags 
hard and gray 
                          I don’t have anything to say

 My sport glasses 
blood red 
if it was a human he would be dead
